Thanksgiving Pics for My Family

A long overdue post about our Thanksgiving with my family.  We always start arriving in Moultrie on Wednesday (except Mike from Texas) and then the chaos,  I mean fun, begins!!  A lot of these photos are just that simply snapshots of our time.....not posed and not edited (well, not much anyway).  For my sister, JoAnn who wanted real candids....not sure she understands "candid" looking photography but here goes.
Okay, just a few of Bennett added in for good measure, too!...UPDATE*  I forgot I can't put photos of Bennett on this blog anymore...I have to delete these..  ):
Santa hats as part of my photo props are one of Bennett's favorites...to carry around, but he does NOT want me to put it on his head.
This is my clue that he is getting tired.....he walks around and pulls on his little ears, like this.
My sister, Kathy, always gets the meat ready for Thanksgiving day.  She does not cook it, she only pulls it off the bones and defats (is that a word?) the meat....NOT my favorite job...UGH!
This is a pic of two of my nieces, Kathy's daughters.   Silly Paige.....unsuspecting Ashley!

The blone is my niece, Leigh. The cute red head is our relative by marriage, Allison.  So happy their family could join us before their move to Texas right at Christmas!!!!
This is Leigh's son, Ryan.  Such a sweet and kind young man.....growing up way too fast.  He is adorable and I am always so happy to get to spend some time with him.
My wonderful sister-in-law, Gail.  She is married to my brother, Tommy, the pro fisherman. She and all my SIL's have the patience in their lives that I have NEVER had!!
Oh my, what can I saw about this gorgeous brown-eyed sweetie??  Rob is always a favorite for me to get to see because he and I get along so well and can cut up and play and hug and laugh at each other.  I can't believe that in a couple of years, he will be more into girls and cars than silly aunts!!
This is my brother, Scott and his youngest son, Carter.  Carter is smart as a whip and obviously loves playing games on his dad's iphone!!  Love you, Scott!!!!
My sister-in-law, Cindy is always in Moultrie with us on her birthday...poor Cindy has never really had a proper celebration.  We try really hard not to forget and we sing to her when we can surprise her!!  She is one very very special lady and I hate her cause she still looks like she is about 30 yrs old!! She has 2 grown kids and has lived with my loud Texas brother, Mike, for close to 30 yrs!
The women in our family gave Brittany a surprise bridal shower one evening while we were all together... she did not know it then but, most of our family was planning to come to her wedding in Jan.
This will teach them not to make ugly faces at my camera!!!!  LOL
This beautiful lady is my niece, Kelly.  The most wonderful, gentle and kind young woman. I am so happy that Mandy finally got to spend some time with her and her sisters during the annual girls shopping trip!!
Behind my sister's home is an elementary school and Bennett and Pop enjoyed playing there.

I enjoyed the swings with Bennett, too!

This is sweet Jordan...she is a preteen and a little moody, but she is always the sweetest to me and she was extra good with Bennett.

This is Jordan's brother, Drew.  Into ballgames, cars and maybe girls???
Ryan watching a game and Allison's daughter watching Ryan..lol!
Carter was playing outside with his cousins and I got a couple of cute shots of him.

I did not get too many shots of Raley this yr.  She had the task of keeping all the little kids while the adult women went shopping.  One year it will be your turn to go too, Raley!

Ok, I need to run and get some things accomplished before I have to pick Bennett up from preschool....more later.

Picture make-up day!!

Not really a make-up day, just a day to try to post some photos that are long overdue.  My beautiful niece's bridal shots can now be posted and I am so happy to say that the wedding was so lovely and it was so sweet cause almost all our family came to be with Brittany and Gail, her mom.   We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to see the photos from Cole Photography, who actually shot the wedding, while I played director!
Okay, here goes.....
Killer shoes!!  She loved them and looked so hot I had to take a few of just the shoes.
Brittany's "theme" for her wedding was icy, snowflakes and cold!!  So we added a few little snowflake touches to her bridal photos.

She was absolutely glowing this day...it took all I could do to keep from hooting when I saw the great light and the gorgeous dress.
She is a natural and has such a beautiful smile, that we captured tons of great shots.  And when I say we, I mean myself and Melissa Leftwich of Cole Photography and Splat Inc Designs, who was so gracious to come and photograph Brittany.

 Gorgeous!!!!
The day we took these was COLD and the wind was blowing the entire day!  But, Brittany was a trooper and posed for the longest time to get some good outside shots.

There was this awesome couch that we moved into the light for these shots.

This is one of my favorites......the first one has an action run on it in Photoshop to change the color a bit...

Our location was the Rock Barn Golf ClubHouse...they were very accommodating as we moved the piano and furniture and held open doorways through which very cold air flowed in!!

See how blue Brittany's hands look?? That is because they were so dang cold!

The next photographs are very different because this is Brittany in her mother's wedding dress.  We took these shots so she could present her mom with the photos as a surprise.  She is the spitting image of her mother when she was that age!!

Love how dark and moody this one is....

Ok, that is a lot of the photos.....next up.  Family shots from Thanksgiving.  Yes, I am working backwards.
For those of you that have my other blog address, I promise I will update that one very soon.  Leave a comment and let me know you were here! Thanks
